Benchmade Mini Osborne 945
The Benchmade Mini Osborne 945 is a new take on one of Benchmade’s most Iconic designs, the Osborne. With its smaller form factor and only 2/3 the weight of its predecessor, it packs all the features of its older bigger brother without weighing you down.
The original Osborne had its first appearance during Blade Show in 2020. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of this top-selling blade, Benchmade released the 945 Osborne Mini in the Summer of 2020 and it’s been turning heads ever since.
The Mini Osborne is made from CPM-S30V steel , which is known for its excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance and toughness but is also relatively easy to sharpen and maintain. The blade features a Reverse Tanto design and weighs in at 58-60 on the Rockwell Hardness rating. The handle is made from G10, a composite material that is lightweight, durable and provides a comfortable and secure grip. The combination of these two premium materials with Benchmade’s patented AXIS lock makes the Mini Osborne a fierce contender in the knife and EDC world and makes a great companion for selfies with your luxurious beard.
The clip on this knife is just as premium as the knife itself and is best described as a Mini Split Arrow design that allows for tip up carry. It’s also reversible for both left-handed or right-handed carry and when inserted into a pocket leaves only about a 1/2 inch above the visibility line which is great for concealment but doesn’t compromise grip when needing to access your knife quickly. The Mini Osborne is a smaller sleeker version of the original Osborn with top-notch build quality.
